We are holding a special one-off Pyjamarama session in association with BookTrust on  Monday 3rd June, 2.30-3pm.

⭐️ Let the magic of bedtime stories last all day long! ⭐️

Come along and get your free ‘Car, Car, Truck, Jeep’ bedtime story book, rhyme sheets to sing along with and there’s a Moon & Stars headband craft activity to take home too!

Our Rhyme Time sessions for under 5’s and families continue to thrive, if you’d like to come along too, please join us on Mondays, in term time only, from 2.30 – 3pm.

June brings preparations for the upcoming Summer Reading Challenge! This year’s theme is ‘Space Chase’, an out-of-this-world adventure inspired by the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. Space Chase will feature bespoke artwork from top children's illustrator, Adam Stower, and will celebrate adventure, exploration, reading and fun! More details on this in July...

In the meantime, we have received some interest in starting another reading group in the library, which is great news…. We need 4-6 members to get it going properly, there is no cost to running a reading group. We have multiple copies of books which are loaned in a collection to the group; all you need to do is chose a selection of titles from our vast list and enjoy reading them when they arrive in the library, as if by magic, just before the next monthly meeting. If you’re interested in finding out more, pop into the library or e-mail Stella for details.

Our digital helpers are still ready and waiting to help support your IT learning needs whether on PC, iPad or tablet, Paul and Andrew are here to help, by appointment, during library hours. So if you want to get online, set up an email account, start online shopping, learn how to use a search engine, setup a word document or just gain more confidence get in touch and arrange an appointment.

Finally, grateful thanks to the Friends for providing new tape dispensers in the library the volunteers have, for some time struggled with the old and worn out ones - the volunteers are now very happy!

We look forward to seeing you in the library again very soon.
