Lego Club

Every Monday - now including school holidays! In the Library from 3.30 to 4.30 pm, the club is aimed at children 4.5 years and over and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Rhyme Time

In Deddington Library resuming Monday 8th September 2025 2.15 to 2.45pm aimed for 0 - 4-year-olds and will be held Term time only.

Summer 2025 Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge STORY GARDEN starts Saturday 5th July 2025, looking at nature, fantasy and the great outdoors exploring your imagination through reading and storytelling.

Upcoming Events

Thursday 31st July 2-3pm

Space Story Time with Author Sue Palmer

We will be welcoming author Sue Palmer to the library on the 31st July, between 2 and 3pm.

Sue will be talking 'Space' as she reads from her 'Mays Moon' book series. The talk will be followed by a practical workshop.

Aimed at 5-12 year olds this event will be brilliant for those interested in space exploration and becoming an astronaut!

Authors Jane Rogers and Linda Newbery will be talking about the importance of how we view climate change.
Linda will also at the library from 2pm for those who would like an informal chat.

Thursday 22nd May 2025 - 7pm

Respected authors Mary Hoffman and Linda Newbery will be at Deddington Library to talk about the importance of art, specifically carving in stone, in their respective novels: Mary's David: the Unauthorised Autobiography and The One True Thing.
